What you get
The content report card
Every book gets a parent-friendly report card: six content scales rated 0–5 — violence, language, sexual content, LGBTQ+ themes, scary or mature, substance use — plus three positive scales for messages, role models, and educational value. Each category comes with a one-sentence note and a neutral note for parents explaining the overall take. No spoilers, no judgment. If a book hasn't been analyzed yet, the report card appears live within moments.
The age spectrum guide
A colored bar from age 4 to 18 shows at a glance where a book lands — wait, read together, or good to go for each age — with a plain-English headline like "Ready from about age 10" and the reasons younger readers might want to hold off, written as one friendly paragraph.
Fit verdicts for your kids
Add your readers — a name and a birth year is all it takes — and every book page answers the real question: "Ready for Ada," "Read together," or "Maybe wait." One verdict per kid, with specific reasons tied to their age.
Scan a book with your phone
Point your camera at any book's barcode and CapaCapa looks it up instantly — full-screen scanner, a flashlight toggle for dim library corners, and a manual ISBN fallback if the camera is blocked. Perfect for standing in the aisle wondering "is this one okay?"
