A note for parents
Strega Nona is a beloved, classic Italian-American folktale picture book about a young boy who learns a hard lesson through disobeying his mentor. The story gently teaches humility and respect for authority through magical mishap rather than punishment. The illustrations are charming and the humor is accessible to young readers, making it perfect for early elementary audiences.
