A note for parents
Snotgirl is a stylish, darkly comedic graphic novel aimed at older teens that blends surreal humor with genuine emotional stakes. While it includes crude bodily humor, occasional profanity, and some blood/violence, the tone is deliberately absurdist rather than graphic or gratuitous. The story explores identity, social media anxiety, and authenticity with heart beneath its gross-out aesthetic, though weak character development and plot-driven pacing may limit its appeal.
